How Does the Buyer Get My Item in an Online Auction?
More importantly, how does the consignor get paid for the item that was auctioned? Rest assured, there are laws, rules, regulations, and best operating practices that have been developed and proven over time to protect all parties involved in an online auction sale. Elder’s Fine Art & Antiques has an established procedure for receiving a buyers funds, verifying the receipt of those funds, releasing and shipping the auctioned item to the buyer, and for paying the consigning seller their sale proceeds less the agreed upon auctioneers commission for the sale.
